Description
Heritage Exposition Services is seeking an In-House Systems Supervisor that will manage and oversee AGAM, Nexxus/Matrix, and other modular systems inventory while supervising skilled and unskilled labor in the warehouse. This position may require supervision of show site as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Hire, train, and supervise workers in the warehouse working on system projects; ensure efficient use of labor and reduce or eliminate overtime
- Attend operations and event meetings prepared
- Track, monitor and properly document project status in Heritage BPS
- Pull and pack all needed materials for system projects per SOP
- Ensure all projects are packed safely, completely, and properly by auditing and supervising packing labor
- Order materials using PO system and properly reclass to appropriate jobs
- Build booths and trade show products
- Clean, repair, count, and maintain inventory
- Follow Heritage policies, quality control measures, standard operating procedures, and Best Practices
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules
- Conduct yearly performance reviews consistent with Heritage policy
- Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our H Hour Customer Service Program
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse or shop operations
- At least 1 year of management
- Experience operating power equipment and tools, including forklifts
- Good oral and written communications skills; good math skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- proficient in basic math and inventory counting
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
Frequent periods of sitting, standing and walking. Periodic bending & stooping, kneeling, squatting and crouching, crawling, reaching, twisting and carrying, pushing, pulling and lifting weight amounts of 25 lbs. or less. Regular and frequent, repetitive hand motion and grasping.
