Systems and Virtualization Engineer

Job

We are looking for a “VMware Virtualization Engineer M/F” for one of our clients.

The objective of the mission is to ensure activities on Hosting environments (mainly Vmware).

Expected Deliverables

Production supportFocus on Vmware (1700+ ESX), Xen servers (800+) and OVM upgrades
Participation in maintenance operation (in HO or HNO)
Pro-activity and critical thinking, focus on continuous improvement / automation
Reporting on activities

Profile

You have a minimum of 6 years of similar professional experience, and are familiar with the following environments:

Vmware 6.0 and 7.0 minimum
Linux/Windows
Vcf VxRail 7.2
Nutanix Farm 4.5 with Vmware hypervisor and Hyper-V – (Appreciated)
PowerShell / Powercli / Python Scripting (Preferred)
X86 Hardware management Dell + Hpe
ITIL

Know-how

Good interpersonal skills, Rigorous, Adaptation skills
Operational positioning and compliance with deadlines and commitments
Writing and reporting skills
Good level of English (written and oral)
