Valiant is seeking a Team Leader Information Systems Technology for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Understand networking protocols and troubleshot to resolve networking problems and resolve computer software/hardware problems IEWTPT.
Responsibilities:
- Installs pending security update(s) and / or software patch(s) as required.
- Manages and maintains system logs.
- Creates and updates system profiles.
- Maintains and configures network switches and routers contained within the boundary of the Maintainer ATO requirements.
- Provides answers, as needed, to technical questions relating to System and Networking capabilities for the development of training support packages (TSP) based on the priorities and objectives of the site.
- Performs system access control and configures web services access.
- Analyzes system failures and other unusual system occurrences to isolate the source of the problem and determine whether the failure is caused by software, hardware, or other factors
- Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents.
- Assist in planning and scheduling work requirements
- Attends management meetings, customer meetings and other required contractual meetings.
- May conduct PMCS and maintenance of equipment
- May be required to support other devices and will be cross trained, as needed.
- Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in ISTS.
- Performs inspections and accountability of property.
- Prepare reports as required; Perform all other duties as assigned.
Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
- Willing to work a flexible workweek.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field experience or on the job equivalent experience.
- 5 years minimum of technical support experience
- Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
- Experience within the Intelligence Warfighting Function
