Job Purpose:
To ensure 99.9% availability of Windows servers and workstations, supporting critical systems and business continuity across departments and branches. This role focuses on server administration, technical troubleshooting, script automation, and system reliability.
Duties and Responsibilities:

System Administration | Manage and maintain various Windows-based operating systems, servers, and workstations |
Installation & Configuration | Set up and configure all Windows servers and desktop systems across the bank |
Monitoring & Troubleshooting | Proactively detect system issues, minimize downtime, and restore services promptly |
Backup & Recovery | Ensure at least one backup server is always available for business continuity |
Automation | Create and maintain scripts for system administration tasks (e.g., login scripts) |
Stakeholder Interaction | Collaborate with regional IT reps, department heads, and other business units |
Vendor Liaison | Work closely with hardware and OS vendors for maintenance and upgrades |
Documentation | Keep accurate records of server configurations, incidents, and procedures |
Other Tasks | Carry out any additional duties assigned by Team Lead or Head of Infrastructure |
Requirements:
Requirement | Details |

Education | Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or related field |
Experience | Minimum 2 years in IT hardware support and Windows system administration, preferably in banking or financial services |
Certifications (Bonus) | Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCP are advantageous |
