Reporting to General Manager
Core Responsibilities
- Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality, and excellence
- Conduct technical training and performance reviews of team members and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure standard operating procedures and guidelines are in place.
- Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required.
- Monitors current/backdated/warranty/repeat jobs to ensure the team follows the set process. This includes reviewing job cards and other documentation to justify warranty/repeat claims and facilitate smooth processing.
- Evaluate the case concerning customer complaints, prior warranty repairs, etc.
- Periodic training for the team explaining the process and work operation steps for each activities.
- Must be intuitive and be proactive to take effective steps in case of critical issues.
- Task allocation and performance evaluation of team members.
- Resource management skills and ability to handle complex/sensitive issues.
- Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation, and appreciate team contribution.
- Ability to match tasks with opportunities for development so that employee potential is utilized to the maximum.
- Present weekly, monthly, and annual reports to Management as per Management Requirements.,
- Provide an efficient working atmosphere to project teams and ensure objectives are met within stipulated time
- Arrange for resources and help in solving technical problems as and when needed.
- Do the balancing act of managing technical processes and teams along with using his technical skills to provide the necessary environment for project success.
- Ability to manage change and effectively pass on the information down the line to concerned teams for smoother execution.
- Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to applicators end to end.
- Investigate and report any technical issue reported by the customer or service team.
- Display a good understanding of the organization’s mission, goals, and strategies in daily work.
- Coordinate with customer services representatives, Sales Advisors, and other departments related to ensuring that they have all related information as customers’ requirements.
- Report to the management while visiting different sites, sending a report for each visited site.
Candidate Specifications
- High automotive technical certification or bachelor’s in automotive engineering.
- Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in a related field
- Able to work both independently and within a team to analyze a problem logically, identify the root cause and document the results
