About The Role
In this position, you will play a critical role in the installation of Picosun’s / Applied Materials equipment for customers, as you will ensure that the user manuals are clear and functional. The work takes place at Picosun’s offices in Masala, where you work together with laboratory engineers. The position is temporary for 18 months, but there is an opportunity to discuss the continuation.

Work tasks
- Seek technically capable candidates to develop new products technical documentation and update legacy product documentation for semiconductor equipment.
- Source relevant content knowledge from databases, pre-existing documents, tool builds and Subject Matter Experts to create, develop, update, and publish highly accurate, complete, and concise product and service documents on a timely basis
- Develop and author technical documents while adhering to publication processes and style guides.
- Work with Applied Material’s Manager to determine scope, deliverables, and schedule of documentation projects.
We are looking for
- 1 – 3-year experience in Technical Writing
- Suitable degree e.g. Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in technical publishing software
- Proficiency in DITA XML
Softwares Used In The Team
- DITA XML: Oxygen Editor
- Content Management System (CMS): SDL Tridion Docs, SharePoint, Teams
- Graphical: Inkscape, Notepad++, and MS Paint
- Adobe Suite: Acrobat Pro DC, FrameMaker
- MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
