Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Operations, you will hold a pivotal role within the organization, overseeing all operational and financial facets of our business. Reporting directly to company ownership, you’ll lead strategic initiatives, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity, consistency, and employee engagement.
- Oversight: Direct day-to-day operations across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, quality, products, IT, and human resources.
- Management: Inspire and guide a team of managers and staff to achieve operational excellence and exceed objectives.
- Stewardship: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to ensure business sustainability and foster growth.
- Analysis: Implement systems to track and analyze operational and financial performance metrics, driving data-informed decision-making.
- Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Engagement: Represent the company in meetings with clients, suppliers, and external stakeholders, nurturing positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in management roles spanning operations and finance, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to motivate teams, drive growth, and achieve business objectives through effective leadership and communication.
- Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Results-Oriented: Outcome-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving measurable results and fostering success.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
