A curious creative who always finds fresh perspectives to visually bring Funda’s corporate identity to life. Do you get energy from creating a recognizable brand experience at all levels for a gigantic audience? Then this is your job.

Your job in a nutshell

You delve into the world of real estate agents, consumers, advertisers and (potential) colleagues, and develop expressions that strike the right chord with every target group. One day you come up with concept directions for a real estate agent campaign, the next day you are creating social media for Instagram. Or you are working on a storyboard for a campaign video. Or a slick presentation deck. Do you have to be able to do everything? No, we are not looking for a sheep with five legs. To a versatile visual talent with a convincing creative vision.

This is what you’re going to do

Concepts: you come up with original visual concepts for all our marketing-related expressions. And not only that, you also implement your concepts down to the last detail.
Designing: you create visuals that are recognisably ‘funda’ and distinctive. From campaign images and social posts to banners. And from complete email flows & PPT decks to printing.
Collaboration: you and the copywriter are like two hands on one stomach. But you feel just as at home with your colleagues from UX or brand. You also confidently manage freelance makers and agencies, because of course you don’t do everything yourself.

Your team

With our Creative Copywriters Imke and Jos you alternately form an unbeatable duo. Fellow Visual Designer Richard is not just a sparring partner; you represent the field within the team and the entire organization – and you like to show that.

The creative team also consists of Project Manager Nikee and Content Manager Mandy. We also work with freelancers such as photographers, animators, illustrators, image editors, DTPs and video production or social media agencies. You brief them and ensure that external work contributes to an optimal brand experience for our target groups. You are managed by Team Lead Marga.

Why you want to become a Visual Designer at funda

We are fully engaged in the process of taking our brand experience to the next level. Our target groups must feel who we are and what we stand for in every interaction with funda – large or small. You will play a big role in that.
Your team operates as an in-house agency. So your clients are just really nice colleagues with whom you really build the brand. The lines of communication are short and you can always count on specialist knowledge, data and insights.
Funda’s different target groups give you an extra challenge. Communication for real estate agents is different than for consumers, advertisers or (potential) colleagues.
You certainly have a nice story at parties. (‘No, I don’t take photos of the houses on funda. Nope, I don’t get a discount on a house either.’)

This is you

Your head is always bubbling with ideas and you see it as a challenge to explore creative boundaries within limits. Sure, you think and dream in images, but words are not enough when you pitch your work convincingly.

You have an HBO or WO diploma, preferably from a design-related study.
You speak and write excellent Dutch and can also express yourself well in English.
Figma holds no secrets for you, just like Adobe Creative Cloud and Powerpoint.
You have at least five years of experience and a versatile portfolio of creative work (at agencies or on the client side).
You are strong in concept development, but you are just as passionate about production assignments.
You can design digitally based on a component library with the user in mind (UX).
You are always looking for inspiration from outside and are eager to experiment with new techniques such as AI.
You have a lot of experience with social media productions and creating (or supervising) video, animation and photography.
Can you also make or edit (simple) videos yourself? Even better.

Annual bonus of up to 1.5 times your monthly salary
Good to know: the above salary range is based on 40 hours, this vacancy is for 32 hours.
Hybrid working: partly in the office, partly at home
