Farnham Estate 4* Spa and Golf Resort is a 158-bedroom luxury hotel and golf resort based in County Cavan. It has significant occupancy throughout the year, a reputation for excellent guest service and is an exceptionally relaxing, comfortable destination venue.

The Role:

Waiting staff are is required for Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort on a permanent basis and will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests in a fast paced environment within the parameters of our Food and Beverage outlets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Greet guests in a professional and warm manner.
  • Serves guests in a prompt and courteous manner in accordance with Food & Drink service standards
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the food & drink menus items and is able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly
  • Upsell products within the department/rest of hotel.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out as per standard operating procedures to include but not limited to: Micros, end of shift procedures and handling of cash.
  • To comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Perform tasks in accordance to supervisors and management expectations.

The Ideal Candidate will:

 

  • Be available to work on a permanent basis therefore may not be suitable for summer applicants or students.
  • Be able to work on their own initiative while also possessing skills in a team environment.
  • Have high attention to detail.
  • Fluent in the English language and have excellent communication skills.
  • Be available to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends, morning and evening shifts.
  • Previous experience in a similar position
