An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for a leading organisation within the health Sector. Located in Grafton you will be working as part of a motivated Stores/Inventory team working full time hours. Starting asap this role is for 1-3 months and possibly longer. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your supply chain knowledge working within a large and complex organisation. This role will be busy and you will need to be comfortable working within a hospital environment where you will be walking all day and with manual lifting of a variety of products.
Duties Include
- Inwards – Checking and receipting inwards goods, putting stock away and replenishing around the organisation.
- Ensure stock incoming is correct and not damaged
- Labelling
- Stock rotation
- Stock issues including stock returns, missing stock and over stock levels
- Other adhoc duties as they arise
- Liaise directly with suppliers
- Keep Oracle updated
To Be Considered You Will Ideally Have
- Previous stores/inventory experience
- An understanding of how a warehouse works
- The ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Be fit and happy with manual lifting and moving stock around a large organisation
- Be comfortable working within a hospital environment
