Wind Power Project Manager

Location: La Défense, Paris, France

Salary: Up to €48k per annum + company benefits

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The Opportunity

Founded in 2014, our client is a European subsidiary of a larger company in the Energy sector. With a head office in Paris, they operate in various countries including the United Kingdom, Europe and Africa. They currently have nine offices across these regions and are dedicated to becoming a significant player in the renewable energy sector in both Europe and Africa.

Role Overview

As a Wind Power Project Manager, you will be an integral part of the Wind Energy Development France team based in Paris, with a national coverage.

You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of wind power projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from site identification to obtaining all necessary permits (administrative, electrical, financial, etc.).

This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, organising information sessions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of wind power projects, from site identification to obtaining permits

· Coordinate and monitor various studies required for project applications

· Organise information meetings and consultation workshops with local stakeholders

· Define the design of future wind farms in collaboration with internal and external experts

· Submit applications for administrative authorizations and monitor the processing

· Travel as needed for operational requirements.

Your Experience

· Background in engineering or business school with a minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in wind power project development

· Strong public speaking skills and a team-oriented, ethical mindset

· Autonomy and proactive approach in project management

· Passion for renewable energy and regional sustainable development

· Proficient in the application process for onshore wind farm projects

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Fluent in both English and French

· Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally, for fieldwork

· Experience in repowering projects is a plus
