About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in leading a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, fostering strong client relationships, and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to your team. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales experience, and strong leadership to effectively manage all sales activities and contribute to our growth in the Polish market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or preferably over-perform sales objectives on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account strategies to drive new business growth and expansion across your assigned territory.
  • Sell our solutions through a consultative selling approach, understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close business opportunities directly with end-customers.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key individuals and stakeholders within client accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting and forecasting of sales activities and pipeline.
  • Deliver compelling solution presentations across all levels of customer organisations.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and conferences, and deliver engaging presentations to potential clients.
  • Set individual sales targets with your sales team, track sales goals, and report results as necessary.
  • Direct and coordinate all local sales activities, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
  • Establish quotas, evaluate and adjust team performance, and develop processes that enhance sales efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Desired Background:
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales and account management within the IT industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving or over-performing sales targets as a Key Account Manager, Large Account Manager, or Sales Manager.
  • Result-Oriented: A strong hunger to ‘win’ the sale and a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work effectively and independently without constant supervision.
  • Closing Deals: Demonstrated experience in successfully closing large and complex deals.
  • Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and ability to foster a positive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Reporting: Proficiency in reporting and forecasting, preferably with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Travel: Will be required to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Language: Advanced English and fluent Polish language skills are mandatory.
  • Driving: Valid driving license.
