APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring a “Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care Float for a very established client in the Centralia, WA area!!
Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care Float
Location: Centralia, Washington
Unit Type: Acute Care Float
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours
Shift:Night Shift – 12 Hours
Pay Rate: up to $28/$30hr!!
Required:
- Active CNA License for WA
- Certification Required: Active BLS
- Minimum 2 years’ experience required.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Acute Care Float. The CNA in the Acute Care Float unit plays a vital role in providing basic patient care, assisting nurses, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients during their hospital stay. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and gain valuable healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly measure and record patients’ vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Mobility Assistance: Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort during movements.
- Patient Education: Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing information on care procedures and assisting with their understanding of the treatment plan.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including observations, interventions, and changes in patient condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Comfort and Support: Offer emotional support to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
