Qualifications
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, a related business field / equivalent level professional (CIM) level 3 qualification, or other relevant professional experience.
- Some experience working in a similar Marketing Assistant role is desirable but not essential. They welcome applications from new graduates.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate confidently by telephone. Email, and in person with a wide range of people at all levels of the business.
- A good standard of education, including an excellent grasp of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong collaborative internal and external working relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail, including strong proofreading skills, grammar, and spelling.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.
- Good awareness of design trends, creative thinking, and a flair for writing and editing content to a high standard.
- A team player with a can-do attitude, a high degree of flexibility, and the ability to respond proactively.
- Strong IT skills, with a good grasp of Microsoft Office software and some Adobe Suite (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop) are desirable.
- Training in Adobe Suite can be given to the successful candidate.
