Job Description

The Company are looking for an experienced Blockchain Software Engineer to work on a Digital Currency project with one of our clients in the finance sector.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the research, design, development and testing of next-generation retail and wholesale Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) systems
• Analyse architectural design of and perform code review for Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) related projects
• Involve in application development
• Collaborate with developers and various stakeholders from other partnering institutions, such as central banks, financial institutions, research institutions and technology firms

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, fintech, IT, or related disciplines
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in developing DLT / blockchain applications
• Good knowledge in full-stack development: front-end, back-end, database, DevOps and containerisation
• Hands-on and proven experience working on one blockchain technology, such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda, Quorum, etc.
• Knowledge of working with different cloud technologies offered by Azure, AWS, and other cloud platforms
• Sound understanding of basic cryptography, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, standard algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in one of the following languages: Rust, Java, Solidity, JavaScript, NodeJS
• Good knowledge of the latest development of local and overseas CBDCs, crypto-assets, and decentralised finance is an advantage
• Innovative mindset with good interpersonal, communication, organisational and presentation skills
