Position Overview

The Creative Director will serve as the visionary leader responsible for shaping the creative direction and strategy of Kate Farms. This role entails leading and managing the creative team to conceptualize and execute impactful marketing campaigns, brand assets, packaging, and innovative content across various channels to drive brand awareness and engagement. The Creative Director will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, Ecommerce Marketplaces, Retail, and People and Culture, as well as external agencies, to ensure brand consistency and deliver exceptional creative work.

We are looking for a player-coach, collaborative team player who can inspire and motivate the creative team, providing guidance and feedback to elevate the quality of work. The Creative Director should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable to changing priorities, and have excellent communication and project management skills.

What You Will Do

 

  • Develop and drive the creative strategy and vision for the brand, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and brand guidelines
  • Lead and manage the creative team/studio, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and creative projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop and execute impactful creative content across various channels
  • Conceptualize and deliver narrative-driven ideas across media and channels, including collateral, video, social, and advertising
  • Oversee all aspects of creative work, including concept development, copywriting, design, and production
  • Develop processes and systems for core brand assets to be utilized consistently, accurately, and at scale
  • Drive and iterate on brand visual storytelling identity including graphic direction, photography/video style for multi-channel campaigns that touch all areas of the customer experience
  • Oversee packaging designs, ensuring brand consistency, and establishing standardized processes to streamline design iterations and print production
  • Translate business objectives into effective creative strategies and briefs
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and leverage insights to enhance creative strategies and executions
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Invite and use the opinions and perspectives of others
  • Support diverse hiring and related initiatives to meet company goals
  • Respectfully share and accept feedback willingly from all levels of the organization

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful creative strategies and executions
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and trends
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Dedication to building high-performing teams while also supporting employees’ career growth in individual ways

This position will work in a home/office environment with occasional trips to the corporate office, manufacturing / packaging print, or other meeting locations. Requires 25% travel.

will be, or could be performed in Colorado, New York City, or California. If the position applied to is not located in

Colorado, NYC, or California, the following information may not apply. Salary Minimum : $129,139 Salary Maximum

$180,000 . The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Kate Farms salary range for this

position. This range will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited

to location, experience, internal pay alignment, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Kate

Farms’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-

term incentives.
