Clariti AI is a B2B SaaS company providing price optimisation software to retail banks. We help banks make pricing decisions on products like mortgages and savings. Our pricing software guides clients to price recommendations that are worth millions of pounds or Euros in additional revenue.
This is an exciting time to join Clariti AI as it is still in its very early stages, with a small client base in the UK and Ireland. After recent successes, Clariti AI has built a very promising pipeline of new clients, with revenues expected to more than double in the next year. The company is 100% founder-owned and is already very profitable with no VC, angel, or other third-party investment.
Data Science Associate
We are looking for an amazing Data Science Associate to join us at this exciting time as we build on our growth. Our machine learning algorithms literally need to be outstanding for our clients to use us. As an early joiner, the Data Science Associate role is key, and provides multiple opportunities for the right person to grow significantly. There are many things to focus on depending on experience and interests. The role is all about pro-active “building and improving”, whether that is improving the predictive power of algorithms through next generation AI, improving client insights available through the user interface, or streamlining and automating processes.
What you’ll be working on
- Building and improving price optimisation machine learning pipelines including data validation, classification, clustering, predictive modelling, neural networks, statistical model evaluation, optimisation, and process automation.
- Preparing presentations for clients based on data and market insights
- Interacting with clients on a regular basis and providing pricing guidance based on data insights
- R&D of new modelling algorithms, optimisation methodologies and process improvements
- Supporting business development activities including involvement in new client pitches
What we’re looking for
- Strong academic background with a minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM subject (Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering)
- Experience of working with Python
- An entrepreneurial spirit and drive to work in an early stage start-up
- A curious mindset to understand how we can improve things and better help our clients address commercial challenges
Nice to haves
- Experience working in a data science role, consulting, or a successful start-up either full time or as an intern
- Machine learning experience
- Comfortable working with large datasets of over ten million rows
- Experience of pricing analytics and/or optimisation
- Experience in producing PowerPoint presentations / reports and presenting to clients or colleagues
- Industry experience and/or strong knowledge of the retail banking sector
- Additional technical experience in any of the following – Microsoft Azure / VBA / JavaScript / PHP / Power Automate
