Position Summary: Responsible for more complex non-patient facing operational duties that support a department/team.
Essential Duties:
- Answers phones and routes calls to appropriate team member.
- Reviews/analyzes/resolves compliance information.
Register patients
Schedule outpatient appointments after discharge
Process birth certificates- Notary required
- Uploads documents and Tracer data entry supporting CMS
- Responsible for Kronos and time keeping duties.
- Supports the scheduling of department meetings and the completion of meeting minutes.
- Responsible for procedure manuals and updating process flow maps.
- May lead the coordination and planning of programs and events.
- Back up and support to the Department Assistant.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Two year or more clerical/administrative experience
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Critical Thinking
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Customer Service Skills
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
Typical Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use computers and other technical systems required to perform job functions
- Perform repetitive hand and arm motions
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds occasionally
