Together with us, you are responsible for guaranteeing the availability of our containerized service landscape.

Responsibilities

1. Automate deployments
2. Add sufficient monitoring to their production services
3. Integration planning into various cloud providers for customer projects
4. Manage deployment of our platform services in those environments
5. Plan, create, and run infrastructure acceptance tests
6. Build and deploy tools to support monitoring and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure
7. Cooperate and communicate with the team that is building the platform

Qualifications

1. EU work permit or EU citizenship and permanent residence in the EU
2. Professional experience with AWS and Kubernetes
3. Knowledge of infrastructure tools like Terraform or NixOps
4. Strong skills in deploying services in cloud providers such as AWS
5. Knowledge of service models such as PaaS, IaaS, and CaaS in cloud computing and their usage scenarios
6. Basic understanding of Docker and Docker compose
7. Willing to take on-call duty (may be needed in the future)
8. You are in excellent and explicit command of English
9. Desirable but optional qualifications

Experience and Knowledge

1. Experience using deployment automation tools such as Ansible or Chef
2. Knowledge of cloud storage technologies such as Ceph, Software-Defined Storage (SDS)
3. Experience with non-relational databases such as Apache Cassandra
4. Experience in administrating the Atlassian Stack.
