POSITION TITLE: Events Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director, Events + Experiences

LOCATION: New York, NY

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Events Coordinator provides logistical and administrative support for all retail events, manages expenses for the marketing team and maintains supplies across retail stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Help the Events Team oversee all retail events, source vendors, manage payments, reconcile budgets and communicate across retail stores and teams
  • Assist with managing retail events from initial concept through completion
  • Explore potential partnerships for retail events and branding moments in tandem with the marketing and events team
  • Coordinate retail events inclusive of logistics for event execution, in-store activations, and visual direction
  • Assist with sales events and communicate with the wholesale team
  • Submit budgets, trade forms, and check requests for events
  • Manage expenses for the marketing team inclusive of accounts payables and receivables
  • Liaise with visual, social, and retail teams to ensure a cohesive message when assisting in planning events and helping develop marketing strategies
  • Maintain supplies across retail stores and explore customized options for event collateral

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • 1-3 years of experience in Events
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and multitask
  • Very organized
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written, and able to interact with cross functional teams
  • Positive
  • Adaptable to a fast paced environment
  • Experience in planning events
  • Strong decision making abilities

BENEFITS:

 

  • $50,000 – $60,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC – based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other AO employees.)
