HVAC Engineer – Paris, France
Brief Job Overview
Development studies for FPSO project are performed by the GPI, which is a multi-disciplinary and dedicated structure, acting on behalf of the Affiliate (TEPA) in accordance to HQ processes in terms of methodology and governance. This choice is justified by project context, field complexity and the overall project schedule (Fast -track project, 5 years from farm-in and operatorship transfer to First Oil). The development consists in production by subsea wells to a spread moored FPSO (75 kbopd, 60 kbop water injection, 400 MMscfd gas reinjection, oil tandem offloading) with a contextualized Technical Referential. The service holder shall provide support to the supervision and approval of the EPSCC Contractor and subcontractors’ work for a FPSO (VLCC sized) conversion project.
Key Responsibilities And Main Tasks
- HSE:
- Demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regards to HSE
- Implement HSE requirements within the discipline area.
- Engineering:
- Supervise and approve the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor and its subcontractors.
- Oversee and review HVAC equipment design and specification.
- Oversee and review HVAC equipment fabrication and delivery.
- Oversee and review the installation of the HVAC system.
- Timely review and comment engineering documents and consolidate comments related to the HVAC system deliverables.
- Liaise with other engineering specialist(s) and other stakeholders as required.
- Oversee and review Classification Approval for the HVAC System.
- Oversee and review the HVAC system construction activities are compliant with the design.
- During execution, create and manage related site queries (SQs), technical queries (TQs), Non-conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, request for deviations and unexpected technical issues, by a proactive and proficient approach.
- Ensure proper reporting, highlighting critical issues to the Hull Management team and proposing remedial actions.
The Experience Shall Include
- Advance Expertise in HVAC engineering activities in Oil & Gas projects
- Rigorous and solution orientated expertise to task completion
- Organization, communication, leadership and transverse coordination expertise for task completion
- Languages of the service: English mandatory, French preferred
