General Description Of The Role

The position of Junior Channel & Customer Marketing E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the operational excellence in execution towards the sales-teams and customers of the CCM E-Commerce Operational plans for the defined brands. He / She plays a crucial role in driving the success of our E-Commerce initiatives by ensuring smooth operations and the successful implementation and optimization by coordinating with CCM, sales, logistics teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities & Activities

Digital shelf management & content execution activities, monitoring e-commerce performance

    • Execute e-commerce content guidelines / toolkits across digital shelves, checking assortment and quality of product catalogue (e.g. description texts, contents, …), ensuring basic and advanced content is up-to-date and accurate for all e-retailers, working with Brand Management and Digital Marketing
    • Track all new product introductions and packaging/content changes and ensure updated content is available and syndicated to e-retailers in a timely manner
    • Ensure a flawless UX experience (i.e. fast, updated, bug free UX) across digital touchpoints, i.e. e-retailers, brand websites, digital media, …
    • Drive brand visibility and monitoring of core KPIs (e.g. share of online shelf, out of stock / availability, rating & reviews, searchability, content IDQ score on Amazon…)
    • Optimize product merchandising based on promo calendars / activation plans agreed by sales and e-commerce media activities
    • Realize online competitive intelligence to maintain the brands’ competitive advantage and highlight gap vs. peers
    • Provide periodical analyses on e-commerce performances and ad hoc reporting, supporting the e-commerce manager in the preparation of presentations to key stakeholders

E-commerce content / assets structure and organization

    • Asset Management in collab. w/Digital Marketing : Support development, improvement, and maintenance of overall data structure and storage of e-commerce content / assets, e.g. cataloging, tagging, keywords, and specialization of e-commerce assets, ensuring the right assets are ready for their respective retail platforms
    • Partner Management: communicate up and down the chain to ensure a seamless go-live date; maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functionals teams e.g. brand management, GSM, content agencies, e-commerce / digital / media agencies, …

Coordinate e-commerce consumer activation / media and support with the planning of editorial and commercial calendar

    • Coordinate with Brand Management and Digital Marketing Teams for e-commerce consumer activation / media, ensuring appropriate budgets are being allocated, as well as working with and Digital Marketing to report on ROAS
    • Support with the planning of editorial and commercial calendar by scheduling and managing implementation activities (e.g. website refresh, posting plan, …)

Qualifications and Skills:

    • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication and Media, or equivalent
    • 2+ years of previous successful e-commerce experience (B2C focus vs. DTC), with proven expertise in digital shelf management and UX optimization (e.g. share of shelf / first page, ratings & reviews, content, search visibility, out of stock / availability …)
    • Relevant experience in FMCG, with experience in Spirits/Beverage and/or digital marketing being a strong plus
    • Product listings, data feeds, website UX / SEO analytics (e.g. keywords optimization), digital media (especially Paid Search and Display)
    • e-merchandising and familiar with digital shelf optimization KPIs (e.g. share of shelf / first page, ratings & reviews, content, search visibility, out of stock / availability)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in german and english
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Result-oriented with strong commitment and ownership towards goals or targets assigned
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic team environment and complex organization
    • Basic Skills in Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign to ensure digital asset quality and adapt formats is a plus
