Responsibilities:
- Lead RF geolocation/Signals payload and antenna related activities.
- Define the RF geolocation/Signals payload and antenna development, procurement, delivery, operations, reliability, and performance requirements across all Signals intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) satellite types.
- Provide technical and programmatic oversight to procurement activities.
- Identify risks to vendor delivery of payloads and components.
- Define the long-term strategy and short-term plan to localize Signals system development in the UAE.
- Define the technical roadmap for Signals payload and antenna technologies.
Requirements:
- 15+ years’ experience in small satellite Signals system design.
- Deep and demonstrable knowledge of Signals system design and performance assessment;
- Experience in the UAE or Middle East is desirable;
- Experience working on ISR data products including AI/ML is desirable;
- Experience in Signals data processing workflows (demodulation, data frame extraction, similarity matching, time and frequency geolocation, decoding).
