What does a great Marketing and Loyalty Manager do?

The Marketing and Loyalty Manager Americas (NORAM & LATAM) will support the Head of Customer Growth Marketing & Campaigns by planning, executing, and optimizing fully integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the brand, embed our Travelport+ platform, and support the commercial revenue goals for our Americas commercial teams across both Agency and Suppliers (airlines, hotels, car rentals).

This will be done through maintaining a close working relationship with global marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, Brand, PR, Internal Comms, and the Americas commercial teams to achieve alignment on strategies, plans, and actions. The individual will also be responsible for supporting strategic planning, customer and supplier communications, the execution of trade shows, customer events, and initiatives that support the overall marketing and commercial goals for our Americas commercial team.

Responsibilities include:

As the Marketing and Loyalty Manager Americas, you will support the Head of Customer Growth Marketing & Campaigns to plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns and strategies to promote our products or services to agencies, suppliers and developers. Your role will involve creating and implementing innovative marketing initiatives, analyzing data to measure campaign success, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy Development:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns to elevate the Travelport brand throughout the Americas, promote Travelport’s products and services and thought leadership initiatives, and support the commercial revenue targets for both agency and partners in NORAM and LATAM.
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives and messaging across different channels and segments that ladder back to CMOs strategic objectives.
  • Define clear KPIs and metrics.

Campaign Management and Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, advertising, paid media, social media marketing, demand generation, partner promotions, research, thought leadership initiatives, webinars, customer events and trade events, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Collaborate with content creators and copywriters to produce high-quality marketing materials, including emails, landing pages, videos, brochures, webinar content, and case studies.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the Travelport tone of voice, campaign messaging, and resonates with the Travelport audience.
  • Work with the regional commercial marketing teams to implement global marketing campaigns.
  • Tailor campaign assets for localized language, which will include transcreation of email comms, PR, and editing on and offline advertising designs.
  • Act as an ambassador of the Travelport brand and best marketing practices by supporting the Head of Customer Growth Marketing & Campaigns to train and enable our commercial teams in the Americas on the purpose and value of our campaigns.

Customer Loyalty:

  • Create and manage customer loyalty management programs to encourage repeat business and drive growth for Travelport.
  • You’ll be focused on creating tactics and comms to engage our resellers across various channels such as newsletters, webinars, and product updates to better understand our technology, the value of it, and how to sell it.
  • In partnership with our training teams and Product Marketing teams create materials to enable our re-sellers to sell Travelport’s products and technology.
  • Analyze customer data and feedback to refine loyalty initiatives and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to reduce customer churn.

Data Analysis and Optimization:

  • Lead strategic efforts to develop, implement, track ROI, and optimize our marketing programs across all channels for maximum brand awareness.
  • In partnership with the Digital Marketing team monitor campaign performance and use analytics tools to track key metrics and KPIs.
  • A/B test campaigns and landing pages to improve conversion rates and ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and ensure all leads are followed up.
  • Work with the Product Marketing Director to understand and communicate product features and benefits effectively.
  • Collaborate with all teams across product marketing, digital, PR, content, design, to ensure successful campaign delivery and exceed company objectives.

Marketing Technology and Tools:

  • Utilize marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies to streamline campaign execution and reporting.

Reporting and Performance Metrics:

  • Prepare regular campaign performance reports, providing stakeholders with insights and recommendations.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage a direct report, foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Set performance goals, align on personal development goals, and provide feedback.
  • Set regular 121’s so you can make sure you are closely aligned on all campaigns, activates and personal development.

Who we are looking for in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in B2B tech marketing (or travel), with experience of successful campaigns and exposure to brand management.
  • Previous experience managing integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
  • An organized, driven, and strategic self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to spot opportunities, craft the message, work closely with the sales team, and execute successfully in the market.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing or agency side role.
  • Inquisitive, keen to learn and take on new challenges and driven to achieve success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation software and CRM systems.

Salary Target: $70,000-80,000 USD

 

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
