Job Description

Overview:

The Center for Educational Innovation (CEI), a not-for-profit educational organization that works with traditional public schools and public charter schools, is seeking to fill the full-time position of Arts Education Program Coordinator. This person reports to the Executive Director of Arts Education.

Responsibilities include:

The Arts Education Program Coordinator will assist with the coordination of a federally funded arts-integrated professional learning program that uses visual art and music to teach academics and serves teachers of students with disabilities nationally. This individual will be responsible for assisting with:

  • Curriculum development
  • Purchasing of art and music supplies
  • File organization in the Google Drive
  • Program Activity (facilitating workshops and meetings)
  • Hosting Zoom meetings
  • Research of Arts Education Conferences
  • Compiling contact information of teachers
  • The planning and execution of an annual conference
  • A digital repository of curricular materials

Skills required:

 

  • Strong administrative experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Expertise with Google Sheets and budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT/ technology/ website and graphic design skills
  • Expertise with entire Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, slides)
  • Experience hosting video meetings and events on Zoom
  • Curriculum development experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and iMovie/video editing preferred

Qualifications:

 

  • BA or BS degree with experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience minimum

Position:

Start Date: April 1, 2025 Job Type: Full-Time

Annual Salary: $50,000 – 60,000 per year

Benefits: Personal/Vacation, Health Insurance Option

Work Location: Hybrid

 

  • Work Days: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: Typically 9AM-5PM
  • In-Person and Remote Schedule
