Job Description
Overview:
The Center for Educational Innovation (CEI), a not-for-profit educational organization that works with traditional public schools and public charter schools, is seeking to fill the full-time position of Arts Education Program Coordinator. This person reports to the Executive Director of Arts Education.
Responsibilities include:
The Arts Education Program Coordinator will assist with the coordination of a federally funded arts-integrated professional learning program that uses visual art and music to teach academics and serves teachers of students with disabilities nationally. This individual will be responsible for assisting with:
- Curriculum development
- Purchasing of art and music supplies
- File organization in the Google Drive
- Program Activity (facilitating workshops and meetings)
- Hosting Zoom meetings
- Research of Arts Education Conferences
- Compiling contact information of teachers
- The planning and execution of an annual conference
- A digital repository of curricular materials
Skills required:
- Strong administrative experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Expertise with Google Sheets and budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT/ technology/ website and graphic design skills
- Expertise with entire Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms, slides)
- Experience hosting video meetings and events on Zoom
- Curriculum development experience preferred
- Knowledge of Photoshop and iMovie/video editing preferred
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree with experience
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience minimum
Position:
Start Date: April 1, 2025 Job Type: Full-Time
Annual Salary: $50,000 – 60,000 per year
Benefits: Personal/Vacation, Health Insurance Option
Work Location: Hybrid
- Work Days: Monday–Friday
- Hours: Typically 9AM-5PM
- In-Person and Remote Schedule
