Job Description.
I am seeking a PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGER to work on a large power plant project based in the Seattle, Washington, area of the USA.
You will run a team of eight project control engineers and planners, so previous team management skills are required.
You will use project management software, including Primavera, MS Project, and MS Excel for data analysis.
Your role will include project control strategy, managing budgets, schedule oversight, risk assessment and mitigation, data analysis, and reporting.
THE COMPANY
My client is an international firm of EPC contractors.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be a highly experienced project control manager able to lead a team of eight people.
You will need to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a similar construction or engineering subject, and a master’s degree would be a plus.
You must have at least ten years or more in project control management.
You should have worked on very high-value projects in infrastructure, power generation, or construction.
You will need to have good experience in the use of Primavera, MS Project, and MS Excel for data analysis.
You will need to have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.
You must have proven experience in all project control functions, including project control strategy, budget management, schedule oversight, risk assessment and mitigation, and data analysis and reporting.
You will need excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
You must have excellent written and spoken English and good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
