Summary:
The Sr. Director of Procurement is a key contributor in executing the strategic plans of our client, based in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
This position works collaboratively with Senior Leadership as well as other departments through developing, planning, and implementing the supply chain infrastructure for sourcing, procurement, and supply management for both direct and indirect categories.
The Sr. Director of Procurement is the supply management partner for both the Research and Development/Engineering Department and Manufacturing Operations, and is responsible for sourcing and overseeing established procurement processes.
This position drives strategy development and implementation, common process definition and deployment, procurement organizational development and leadership, and delivery to support client-based schedules.
He/ she is expected to develop and enhance centralization efforts of the procurement function as well as manage cross supply chain vendor relationships. The Sr. Director of Procurement will collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Warehouse/Logistics as well as Research and Development to continuously improve the end to end procure-to-pay cycle. This role also facilitates collaboration and leverage of spend across Divisions and Business Units globally.
