Responsibilities

1. You will join an expert team in the area of clinical GMP manufacturing for viral vector-based therapies.
2. The main objective of your work is to support GMP manufacturing processes for AAVs.
3. You are responsible for processing equipment and devices for the clinical production of viral vector-based therapies under GMP
4. You perform media preparation, fermentation and/or downstream operations and supervise the processes for the production of viral vectors
5. You plan, coordinate and document commissioning, qualification and change control for equipment and procedures in the GMP area
6. You create SOPs, manufacturing and testing instructions or other documents under GMP requirements
7. You support digitalization by active contribution to digital and data analytics projects
8. You can identify with the following statements?
9. You have graduated in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry or a comparable field of study/education with at least 2 years of experience in a pilot, clinical or commercial production environment
10. You have extensive knowledge and experience in the operation of cell culture and/or downstream equipment.
11. Expertise in single-use technologies and in viral vector production operations up to 500L helps you to fulfil the required tasks
12. You are experienced to work in a GMP environment and to deal with viral vectors including biosafety requirements
13. You are characterized by your careful, independent and responsible way of working as well as your enjoyment of working in a team
14. You foster a collaborative and trusting relationship
15. Your great self-motivation and willingness to work together interdisciplinary enables you to find innovative solutions
16. Your very good English skills allow you to work together efficiently in a global environment.
