Job Overview:
Quantum Packaging Nigeria Limited seeks an experienced Import Officer to manage its end-to-end import operations, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, knowledgeable in customs regulations, and capable of coordinating with shipping lines, clearing agents, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full import cycle: documentation, clearance, and delivery

  • Liaise with shipping lines, customs, and clearing agents

  • Track import-related expenses (e.g., demurrage, container deposits)

  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian Customs and regulatory standards

  • Maintain accurate shipment records and reporting

  • Monitor KPIs including cost savings and timely container returns

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Engineering, Management, Science, or related fields

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience

  • Proficient in MS Excel and import documentation

  • Knowledge of M-form processing and customs clearance

  • Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills
