Job Description
Operations Manager – Electromechanical/MEP/Elevator/Industrial Engineering
- Monitors operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Designs efficient production processes and workflows.
- Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
- Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
- Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
- Implements control to monitor costs and minimize production issues.
- Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.
- Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.
- Prepares inventory analysis and procurement purchase orders to address production needs.
- Design facility layout and personnel requirements for production operations.
- Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
- Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.
- Generates process
Skills
- Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry
- Bachelor’s degree (only to be substituted with extensive industry and management experience); or two years experience managing on a branch departmental level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
