We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha. As an integral part of our finance department, the Accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
What you will do:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis to provide insights into the company’s financial health.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements.
- Assist in budgeting and expense management processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
