Jubilee Media

Overview

Jubilee is seeking a full-time Post Production Coordinator to take the lead on all the moving parts and logistics that keep our post-production department running smoothly and efficiently. As we push ourselves to make content that digs deeper and is more creatively complex, we are also pushing to build and maintain sustainable systems for our creative teams – especially our editors!

The Company

At Jubilee, we’re on a mission to provoke a new culture of empathy. We explore experiences that push people to feel more, think more, and see more in others. We challenge the belief of a black-and-white world, and instead embrace the complexity and richness of our experiences. By magnifying these stories we can discover personal identities, shared truths, and how we fit in the overarching human story. People are at the core of our mission and we’re looking for our next family member to join the adventure. We believe that together we can change the world.

The Job

Working in close collaboration with our Head of Production and Lead Editor, this Post Production Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth sailing of our post-production pipeline. You’ll be responsible for keeping everyone on track with deadlines, equipped with the necessary resources, and seamlessly connected within the team. You’ll oversee operations within YouTube Studio, including uploading content and scheduling releases. If you thrive on empowering team members, streamlining processes, and reveling in the intricate details required to uphold a fast-paced department, then we’re eager to welcome you aboard!

What You’ll Do

  • Assign tasks and track deadlines for editors;
  • Hire and coordinate freelance editors;
  • Gather and prepare deliverables for YouTube channel video releases;
  • Upload and schedule releases in YouTube Studio, ensuring timely and organized video releases on our channel;
  • Organize and maintain an up-to-date library of post-production assets;
  • Help maintain data backups (hard drives, archives, etc.);
  • Help create post-production processes to maximize the balance of efficiency and quality;
  • Serve as the point of communication between our post-production team and other departments, including Brand Partnerships and Brand Marketing

Who You Are

  • 2 yrs of experience in post-production
  • Someone who understands the creative and technical aspects of post-production and editing
  • Passionate about logistics, details, and organization. Experience with Asana is a plus
  • Able to multitask and juggle multiple projects at once
  • A leader who enjoys meeting new people and bringing the best out of them
  • A flexible problem-solver who takes the initiative in finding solutions and is proactive about spotting obstacles before they arise
  • Looking to be a part of a team that emphasizes both personal and professional growth
