What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced coordinator and content creator who knows social media and digital marketing by heart and can tell short and engaging stories through visuals and text. As our Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, we expect you to have communication and digital marketing experience and know how to create engagement across various channels and target different groups. You know your social media management tools; you love the analytics behind a campaign – and love to analyze the data – and you are eager to keep track of the everchanging digital landscape. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and adjusting our marketing plans; you will manage and develop our Social Media platforms and ensure they are up-to-date with well-produced content. Besides working for Upright Music, you will also work closely across our sister companies; StereoRoyal, A New Story, ACE edition, and Silverdrum.

You will team up with our Client Relations Team as well as our Own Content team, who is managing our sister companies. Together with them, you will define, develop, and handle our digital marketing and branding agenda. The position is new, and we expect you will play a significant role in defining it. Experience in the music industry is not mandatory, but it is advantageous.

Primary tasks

  • Curate and generate digital media content, including newsletters, social media posts, stories, websites, etc.
  • Manage and monitor social media channels.
  • Update and curate Upright’s website and our sister companies’ websites.
  • Coordinating, planning, and scheduling content.
  • Create strong marketing campaigns and newsletters targeting the right groups – and automate some of these workflows.
  • Monitoring engagement and analyzing performance and data insights.
  • Build strong brand awareness across our companies.
  • Attend relevant events and create awareness of our significant projects and collaborations.
  • Ensure inspiring digital marketing – developing, managing, and supporting our initiatives.

Who you are

  • You are an engaging and creative communicator, both in English and Danish.
  • You have a strong eye for visuals and graphics and an eye for detail.
  • You are proactive, excel in generating ideas, and have a creative mindset.
  • You know your social media management and analytic toolbox by heart.
  • You are up to date with the ever-changing landscape within digital marketing and social media.
  • You are self-driven and super-structured, and you take responsibility for the tasks you lead.
  • You are reliable and passionate about your work, with a high sense of integrity and loyalty.
  • You are a team player who thrives in an international, creative, and musical environment. You want to contribute to the further development of Upright Music and our sister companies.

What you bring

  • Work experience from a similar position.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English.
  • Video editing experience is of advantage.
  • A relevant education in marketing, communication, journalism, or something similar.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn more about our business and brand.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of digital promotion and know social media analytics tools and how to use them.

What we offer

We are a team of highly skilled, experienced, and kind-hearted people who are passionate about music and the impact of music when combined with moving images. The job is based in our open and bright office space in the heart of Copenhagen, right across from the Church of the Holy Spirit.

We hope we’ve sparked your interest in joining our company and team.
